NCMR: Work Space & Wireless

At one point NCMR conference plans called for an IMC-style space on-site with public terminals and such for folks who wanted to actually make some media from there. That's been scaled back to, I believe, a computer and perhaps a phone. The thought being that most everyone should have a cell, and there's got to be a coffee/wi-fi thing happening somewhere in downtown St. Louis. Also, someone told me there were concerns about liability if someone "ran a pirate station" from there. It did not sound like they were joking. wtf?

As for blogging within the conference sessions itself, it's not clear whether the venue has wireless. I've heard it exists "in the lobby," but that's not where the sessions are. I've also heard that might get jury-rigged, too. Such a swank place and yet to have to BYON...
